Adobe Photoshop Tricks For Beginners

Adobe Photoshop is a wonderful computer application to learn. This is basically an image editing software program that will allow you to edit, alter, and enhance images, such as photographs. The first trick is by turning any color in to the foreground color. To do this, you need to press I to activate the eyedropper tool. Then, click on the color on the image. This will automatically turn that color in to the foreground color. To turn that in to the background color, all you need to do is press the ALT key and click on the color in the image.

Changing the size of the brush is also an essential part of Photoshop. It is a fact that changing the brush size will require you stop working, click on the brush tip size and reduce or increase the size according to your preferences. This is time consuming. One trick is to simply press the right bracket key "]" to increase the size of the brush tip and the left bracket key "[" to decrease it. That's how simple it is.

Also, by knowing how to activate the move tool with your keyboard can save you a lot of time. To do this, all you need to do is press letter "V" on your keyboard. You can also use the keyboard arrow keys to push the layer or the selection by 1 pixel increments. To speed things up, just press the shift key along with the arrow key to nudge in 10 pixel increments. This Adobe Photoshop trick will help you save a lot of time when working with Photoshop especially when you are working with layers.

Pressing the TAB button on your keyboard will hide all your palettes. Pressing TAB again will bring them back. Pressing shift and TAB will hide everything except the toolbar. This is one trick that will make working with Photoshop a lot more convenient.

To zoom in and out, you will usually click on the tool and click the mouse. To make it easier, the keyboard shortcut trick is to press CTRL and the plus sign on the keyboard to zoom in and CTRL and the minus sign to zoom out.
